Open Call for Proposals Euro-MED05 - Thematic Strategic Territorial projects. Objectives The 5 th call for proposals is targeted to thematic Strategic territorial projects focused on the Smarter and Greener Mediterranean Programme priorities and the related specific objectives: 1.1 DEVELOPING AND ENHANCING RESEARCH AND INNOVATION CAPACITIES AND THE UPTAKE OF ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES 2.4 PROMOTING CLIMATE CHANGE ADAPTATION AND DISASTER RISK PREVENTION, RESILIENCE, TAKING INTO ACCOUNT ECO-SYSTEM-BASED APPROACHES 2.6 PROMOTING THE TRANSITION TO A CIRCULAR AND RESOURCE EFFICIENT ECONOMY 2.7 ENHANCING PROTECTION AND CONSERVATION OF NATURE, BIODIVERSITY AND GREEN INFRASTRUCTURE INCLUDING IN URBAN AREAS AND REDUCING ALL FORMS OF POLLUTION Eligible applicants The interventions planned by the projects must cover specific kind of territories of the Programme (targeted areas) and point at specific groups of beneficiaries (target groups), in order to maximise their impact in the frame of the objectives pursued by the corresponding mission. The core target groups of the Programme consist of national, regional and local public authorities engaged in policymaking, working together with other relevant bodies responsible for the definition and implementation of policies.
