The European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) and the European Commission's Directorate-General for Climate Action (DG CLIMA) are hosting an info day on 17 and 18 December 2024. The event will present the key features and award criteria of the Innovation Fund 2024 Call (IF24 Call) and the Innovation Fund 2024 Battery call (IF24 Battery). The IF24 Call has allocated €2.4 billion for projects aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions in sectors such as cleantech manufacturing, maritime, renewables, energy storage, and energy-intensive industries. The IF24 Battery call has designated €1 billion for electric-vehicle battery cell manufacturing projects. The application window for both calls is open until 24 April 2025.
