Conferences and summits: Sustainable Transport Forum – Guidelines for tender procedures for deployment of public electric recharging infrastructure for cars and vans

On 30 January 2025, the Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport is organizing a webinar to present and discuss new guidelines for tender procedures for the deployment of public electric recharging infrastructure for cars and vans. These guidelines are intended to assist public authorities and relevant competent authorities at all governance levels in designing, deploying, and overseeing tenders for public charging infrastructure for light-duty vehicles. The publication of these guidelines follows the entry-into-force of the Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation (AFIR) on 13 April 2024. The Sustainable Transport Forum (STF), established in 2015, supports the Commission in implementing activities and programs aimed at fostering the deployment of alternative fuels infrastructure to contribute to the EU's energy and climate goals.
