Description

Lectures from internationally-renowned scientists and specialists will provide attendees with a comprehensive overview of satellite navigation, starting from the GNSS system, its signals, the processing of observations in a receiver, and finally determining the position-navigation-time (PNT) solution.

Lab work is organised to complement the theoretical lectures, providing attendees with hands-on experience. Additional lectures will cover issues related to the implementation and commercialisation of GNSS products, as well as business strategies. The future of satellite systems will also be discussed.

The main emphasis will be put on the development of a group project, based on the attendees’ innovative ideas and covering all aspects from the business plan and technical feasibility to the marketing of the final product or service.

The programme is open to graduate students (with a first university degree), Ph.D. candidates, early-stage researchers, and young professionals willing to broaden their knowledge from international lecturers in the field of satellite navigation.
