EU-Mercosur Civil Society Dialogue

The European Commission is organizing the second civil society dialogue meeting on the EU-Mercosur partnership agreement. This meeting will be held on December 18, 2024, from 15:00 to 16:30 CET via WEBEX. Registration closes on the same day at 12:00. The meeting aims to address outstanding and additional questions from civil society organizations that could not participate in the previous meeting on December 10th. Key speakers include the Head of the Latin America Unit and the Head of the Americas Unit from the Directorate-General for Trade and Agriculture, respectively. The event will be moderated by the Civil Society Coordination - Transparency, Civil society and Communication Unit of the Directorate-General for Trade.

Participants are encouraged to connect to the WEBEX platform 30 minutes before the meeting to resolve any technical issues. The meeting will be live-streamed, and the access code and password will be provided to registered participants.
