Industrial Policy for Competitiveness and Resilience

This event, organized by the European Commission, is the closing event of the 2024 DG GROW Fellowship programme. It will take place on Wednesday, 13 November 2024, from 10:00 to 16:00 CET at the Breydel building in Brussels, Belgium. The event will be held both in person and online.

• 10:00 - 10:30: Welcome coffee
• 10:30 - 10:45: Opening by Kerstin Jorna, Director-General DG GROW
• 10:45 - 12:45: First session – Industrial policy for competitiveness and innovation
• 12:45 - 13:45: Networking Lunch
• 13:45 - 15:45: Second session – Road towards de-risking and EU resilience: addressing open questions
• 15:45 - 16:00: Take-away messages and wrap-up

The event will feature top-level experts and academics who will discuss the highlights of their conclusions and advice on EU Single Market and Industrial Policy. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with the advisors. The event also offers networking opportunities with a complimentary lunch provided on-site.
