The LMA's Mock Translation LAB Competition is a simulation of a translation project (English-Romanian) for undergraduate students in Translation Studies. The event aims to connect students with the labor market, preparing them for their professional careers and motivating them to continue their studies in translation. Participants will engage in a series of Translating Europe Workshops, focusing on project management, competences, terminology, quality assurance, and proofreading. The event will take place from Monday, December 2, 2024, to Friday, December 6, 2024, at Babes-Bolyai University - Faculty of Letters in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. It is part of the Translating Europe Workshops and is intended for final-year students from the Applied Modern Languages Department, with activities conducted in Romanian and English.
