This hybrid workshop, held in Brussels and available via Webex, focuses on the industrial applications of fermentation technologies. It highlights SMEs using biomass, precision, and gas fermentation, with presentations followed by a Q&A session. A panel of experts will discuss research and innovation, infrastructure, the role of farmers, public acceptance, market development, profitability, and pricing. Micro fermentation and the regulatory framework will also be addressed. The workshop aims to identify key challenges and opportunities for food production enabled by modern fermentation techniques in Europe.
