EPAH International Annual Conference in Barcelona

The Energy Poverty Advisory Hub (EPAH) is hosting its international annual conference in Barcelona, Spain, on 15-16 October 2024. The event, organized by the Directorate-General for Energy, focuses on the theme "Turning the Tide: Paving the Way for Energy Poverty Alleviation." It aims to gather local governments, policymakers, experts, and stakeholders to address energy poverty and promote sustainable solutions at the local level.

The conference will take place at Espai Francesca Bonnemaison, with participation open to all upon registration. The registration closed on 4 October 2024. The first day of the conference will be livestreamed.

Barcelona is recognized for its leadership in climate and energy transition, prioritizing energy poverty alleviation through sustainability initiatives, social services, and affordable housing. The conference will share practical experiences, assess insights, and emphasize the urgent needs of local governments.
