The InfoPoint conference titled "Weaving knowledge and resistance among Women Land Defenders" is organized by International Partnerships InfoPoint. It aims to exchange experiences, share knowledge, and build solidarity among Women Land Defenders, who are crucial in protecting land and territories but face specific threats. This event is part of the ILC celebration of International Women Human Rights Defenders Day, featuring witnesses from ILC members who attended a global exchange in Colombia in June 2024.

It will present the experiences of women activists from grass-roots organizations worldwide, focusing on the importance of land and territories for women defenders and the challenges they face. The event will include discussions led by international experts and leaders from Latin America, Asia, Africa, and EMENA, highlighting successes and challenges in advocacy efforts for women land rights.
Speakers include Elisabetta Cangelosi, Michel Forst, Philippe Jacques, Marusia Lopez, Marie Le Henaff, Kimberly Alvarez, Leiria Vay, and Hadija Sserwanga. The conference will be conducted in English and Spanish, with a Q&A session in both languages. Participants can register for onsite or online participation.
