A new call under the Creative Europe 2021-2027 program is on its way. It will support up to forty projects aimed at facilitating the translation, publication, distribution, and promotion of various genres of European literary works.

The Creative Europe program is the European Commission's main instrument to support the cultural and artistic ecosystem.

With a total budget of 2.4 billion euros for the programming cycle 2021-2027, the program finances a wide range of interventions in different areas, from film to literature, and is divided into three strands: Media to support the audiovisual industry; Culture to support the other creative and cultural sectors; and Cross-sectoral, which addresses common challenges and opportunities of the cultural and creative sectors, including audiovisual.

Here is an overview of the Creative Europe 2024 calls, including a new one, which opened on January 16th, to promote the circulation of European literary works, under the Culture strand of the program.
