The Creative Europe program is the European Commission's main tool for supporting the cultural and creative ecosystem.

With a total budget of €2.4 billion for the 2021-2027 period, the program funds a wide range of interventions in various fields, from cinema to literature, and is divided into three strands:

  • MEDIA, supporting the audiovisual industry;
  • CULTURE, supporting other creative and cultural sectors;
  • Cross-sectoral, addressing common challenges and opportunities in the cultural and creative sectors, including audiovisual.

Here is an overview of the Creative Europe 2025 calls, including three new calls soon to open, aimed at promoting European initiatives related to cinema and audiovisual projects, as part of the MEDIA section of the program.
