NGI Open Calls: Pioneering the Future of Internet Technologies

The Next Generation Internet (NGI) is a visionary initiative by the European Commission (EC) aimed at transforming the Internet into an "Internet of Trust." This initiative focuses on creating an Internet that prioritizes trust, security, and inclusion, aligning with the values and norms cherished by European citizens.

With an initial investment exceeding €250 million between 2018 and 2020, the NGI supported over 1,000 researchers and innovators across hundreds of projects.
