40 million for the new call of the Horizon Europe Biodiversa+ partnership

The biodiversity partnership co-funded by Horizon Europe is ready to launch its fourth call, with a budget of 40 million euros between participating countries and the EU Commission. While waiting for the official launch, here are the first previews of the Biodiversa+ 2024 call.

The first news about the new call of the Biodiversa Plus partnership comes from the pre-information notice of the fourth call, entitled "Societal Transformation - BiodivTransform", which will open on September 10th.

The Biodiversa+ partnership of Cluster 6 Horizon Europe

Promoted within the framework of the European research and innovation program Horizon Europe, the Biodiversa Plus partnership was launched on October 1, 2021, with the aim of supporting excellent research projects on biodiversity, ecosystem protection, and the development of nature-based solutions.

The partnership builds on the success of Biodiversa, under Horizon 2020, which mobilized 269 million euros through 10 calls. Biodiversa+ is instead a co-funded partnership of Cluster 6 of Horizon Europe, worth about 800 million euros, of which 165 million are top-ups from the Commission.
