EIT published a new call for Raw Materials

Photocredit: WikipediaA new € 10 million call for proposals has been launched by EIT RawMaterials, the Knowledge and Innovation Community of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), which aims to support a secure and stable supply of raw materials in Europe by fostering innovation, education and entrepreneurship in European industrial ecosystems.

It follows on from the work of the EIT's Knowledge and Innovation Community (KIC) on critical raw materials, which aims to network industry players to drive innovation across the raw materials value chain.

What is EIT RawMaterials?

EIT RawMaterials is one of the current nine Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs) of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), the European Union body with legal personality set up under the third pillar of Horizon Europe to support Europe's transition to a circular, green and digital economy while strengthening its global competitiveness. The EIT has established nine thematic Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs), one of which is dedicated to critical raw materials.
