How the 2021-2027 Interreg Europe program works
With a budget of 380 million euros, 2021-2027 Interreg Europe aims to improve the implementation of regional development policies, with reference to the five strategic objectives of the Cohesion Policy:
- A smarter Europe, investing in research, innovation, and digitalization to increase the competitiveness of its companies
- A greener Europe, always paying attention to issues related to decarbonization, environmental protection and climate change
- A more connected Europe, thanks to digital and transport infrastructure
- A more social and inclusive Europe, protecting citizens' rights in all areas, from work to health
- A Europe closer to citizens, and to the needs of the territories.
