Artificial Intelligence: what the two incoming Digital Europe calls entail

On February 29th, 2024, a Coordination and Support Actions (CSA) call, and a Grants for Procurement call, will be open for submission. They both aim to provide harmonized tools and frameworks that will be integrated in the future AI Act.
The DIGITAL-2024-AI-ACT-06-SANDBOX call
The initiative aims to support several tasks:
- Facilitating the establishment of AI regulatory sandboxes at the EU level, promoting effective cross-border cooperation among national competent authorities as outlined in the AI Act.
- Developing standardized frameworks, processes, and tools for supervising AI projects within these regulatory sandboxes. Technical and legal assistance will be provided to competent authorities and innovators for imple
