A new call for scientific traineeships at the EU Joint Research Centre

PexelsThe Joint Research Centre (JRC), the European Commission’s science and knowledge service, opened a new call seeking candidates with a strong scientific background to work as trainees in 20 different thematic areas that are relevant to the organization.

 The work of JRC concentrates on strengthening the knowledge base for policy-making and it does it focusing on a variety of areas from the environment and climate change to agriculture and food security as well as nuclear safety and security and innovation and growth. JRC has a central role in helping the EU to better understand the present challenges it has to face and provide knowledge to bring long-term solutions.

As the JRC is located in 5 different Member States, applicants can choose the place of the traineeship between Ispra (Italy), Geel (Belgium), Petten (the Netherlands) or Karlsruhe (Germany).
