The European Commission has recently published the Horizon Europe 2023-2024 work programmes, including the one for the "Health" Cluster which illustrates the calls for the life sciences sector that will be launched in the new two-year period.

Research and innovation actions under this cluster will be key to address health-related challenges by advancing knowledge and capabilities and developing innovative methodological and technological solutions to better manage health and diseases.

Inserted within the second pillar of Horizon Europe - the one dedicated to "Global challenges and industrial competitiveness" - the 2023-2024 work program of the Cluster Health strives to contribute on six expected impacts which are the so called destinations (i.e. the macro themes into which the cluster is divided), including the 17 calls (tenders) envisaged for the new two-year period, each of which includes different topics.

In addition to the above mentioned calls, the Health 2023-2024 work programme will also finance some tenders for the realization of studies, conferences and events, as well as participation in some international initiatives.
