Biosimilar Medicines - Multistakeholder Event

The European Commission is hosting a multistakeholder event on biosimilar medicines. The objective is to raise awareness and highlight the potential of biosimilars in improving affordability and access to medicines. The event will feature sessions on:

• Ensuring biosimilar development and competition in Europe, with speakers from IQVIA, EMA, and DG COMP.
• Promoting biosimilar uptake with insights from Prof. MD Tore Kristian Kvien and updates on national biosimilar policies.
• The AUGMENT project, an EU4Health biosimilar capacity-building initiative, with participation from various European health institutes.

Participants are invited to register online, preferably by 22 November 2024, to attend the event on 5 December 2024 from 09:00 to 16:30 CET.
