Partner meetings: Biosimilar medicines - Multistakeholder Event

The European Commission is hosting a multistakeholder event on biosimilar medicines. The event aims to raise awareness about the potential of biosimilars in improving affordability and access to medicines. Sessions will cover topics such as biosimilar development and competition in Europe, with speakers from IQVIA, EMA, and the European Commission. There will also be discussions on promoting biosimilar uptake and updates on national biosimilar policies from countries like Norway, Belgium, and Portugal. The AUGMENT consortium will introduce the EU4Health biosimilar capacity-building project, which aims to encourage biosimilar uptake through a multistakeholder approach. The event will take place on Thursday, 5 December 2024, from 09:00 to 16:30 CET. Online registration is recommended by 22 November 2024.
