The Government of Uganda has received a loan from the African Development Fund towards the cost of a road sector support project and intends to apply part of the loan proceeds to payments under the contract for consultancy services for feasibility study and detailed engineering design for upgrading of Kazo-Buremba-Kabagole-Kyegegwa Road.
The Kazo-Buremba-Kabagole-Kyegegwa (82Km) is an existing gravel road located in the Western part of Uganda that traverses through the Districts of Kiruhura, Ibanda and ends at Kamwenge. Currently, the road has an average carriageway width of 5-6m over the entire road length.
