Last October the EU Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA) officially opened the #myEUSpace competition for the year 2022 with the objective of supporting the development of innovative commercial solutions that will integrate EU Space data from Copernicus, the European Earth observation programme and/or Galileo, the European global satellite-based navigation system.
Every year the Cassini Space Entrepreneurship Initiative, the European Commission initiative that support start-ups, entrepreneurs and Small and Medium Enterprises in the space industry, promotes this competition aiming at challenging entrepreneurs and innovators to create new solutions leveraging Copernicus and Galileo services, information and data during the different steps of their evolution cycle.
The competition is open to applicants from all over the European Union Member States, including teams coming from Iceland, Norway and Switzerland and has a total prize of nearly 1 million euros, to which will also be added the entrepreneurial support throughout the entire innovation process.
