Two call for proposal launched under the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquacultue Fund
There is time until 31 January to participate in the two calls for proposals launched by the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) under the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (EMFAF).
With a total of 15.1 million euros, the European Commission is looking for proposals for two different calls. Benefitting of a total budget of 7.5 million euros, the first one aims to contribute to the development of the next generation of blue skills and to provide opportunities for attractive and sustainable maritime careers. In the context of the goal to reach climate neutrality, the Commission wants to address the need of developing adequate skills for workforce dealing with the innovative services in the field of blue economy (a concept that includes sustainable fishing and aquaculture protection of the maritime and ocean resources).
