50 million euros call for urban sustainable development
The European Urban Initiative (EUI) has launched a 50 million call to support urban innovation and cities’ capabilities to build sustainable urban development. This will be an opportunity to allow the second generation of New Europea Bauhaus demonstrators to be implemented after the first 6 projects that were financed under Horizon Europe.
The initiative is an essential tool to support cities to build capacity and knowledge, to support innovation and develop transferable and scalable innovative solutions to urban challenges of European Union relevance. The ultimate goal is to inspire the use of mainstream Cohesion policy programmes in urban areas with proof-tested innovations, especially those receiving support from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
