75 million euros loan from EIB to build low-energy houses in Sweden

What is Stockholm Kooperativa Bostadsförening

Stockholm Kooperativa Bostadsförening is a cooperative tenancy association with 92.000 members. It builds and manages homes that are rented out to members in the form of cooperatives. With more than 8.200 apartments in Stockholm, and six surrounding municipalities, it is the largest private rental operator in the Swedish Capital which built the earliest apartments in 1917. The executive organization has 140 employees and is run on corporate terms as a financial association where the surplus is reinvested in the business.
