Culture Moves Europe, a new call to host artists and cultural professionals
As part of the Culture Moves Europe initiative, the European Commission has launched a new call for applications to provide continuity for the Creative Europe programme's instrument dedicated to the cross-border mobility of artists and cultural professionals. Applications by mid-June.
Formally launched in July 2022 and operational since the publication of the first call in October last year, a new piece is added to the Culture Moves Europe initiative, which promotes the permanent mobility of artists and professionals in the cultural field active in the sector.
This second call related to the EU instrument aims to support so-called "residency actions", targeting cultural organizations that organize or are interested in implementing an international artistic and cultural residency project. The call covers various fields, from architecture to design, and will remain open until next June 15.
Staying with the residency action, Brussels plans to publish three more calls by the end of 2024.
