The Interregional Innovation Investments (I3) Instrument provides advisory and financial support to innovation projects in joint smart specialisation areas on the road towards commercialisation and scale-up.
The I3 Instrument work programme for the years 2023 and 2024 as part of the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) shall support the commercialisation and scaling up of interregional innovation projects in shared smart specialisation areas, with the potential to encourage the development of European value chains in less developed regions.
