HaDEA launched a second wave of calls for proposal on cancer and non-communicable diseases
HaDEA, the European Health and Digital Executive Agency, has published a second wave of calls for proposals under the EU4Health 2022 Annual Work Programme. It is a matter of three new calls focused on cancer and non-communicable diseases (NCDs) which will also support Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan and the EU Cancer Mission.
The second wave of calls will join the first wave of calls, which cover different topics, such as the implementation of innovative approaches to prostate, lung and gastric cancer screenings, the promotion of mental health, training for the health workforce and the implementation of the Regulation on health technology assessment.
EU4Health is one of the HaDEA’s main programmes and is considered the fourth and largest of the EU health programmes since its launch in 2003. With a budget of 5.3 billion euros for the period 2021-2027, it aims to go beyond the Covid-19 pandemic, in order to address the resilience of European healthcare systems and contribute to a healthier Europe.
